Projects

My good friend and co-founder Mark and I set up our events business in 2008 with the intention of making a living. We’ve continued to organise and launch new events and festivals and meet a lot of people along the way.

In different ways, these people have inspired us to engage our team and their creative skills, to work on projects that make a contribution to our community. This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about taking our day job and making it work just a little bit harder so that our community benefits. When friends and family asked us about it, they wanted to know ‘what’s it called?’ We said, “well, it’s not called anything. We have projects within our business, some are festivals, some are events, some are for our community.” So, nudged along by our friends, today – we are both delighted to be officially launching (and naming) Escape Records Community.

I’ll let our Escape Records Community projects do the rest of the talking.
